The mysterious world of MONICA CROESE

Art and meaning

Katherine Treffingers art is beautiful and i find her bright colours and (abstract) landscapes with so many depths very inspiring. As she asked me to answer the question What is the meaning of doing art for you?, a project on her blog, i gladly said yes. It took awhile before i answered this question, but yesterday i send it to her and now you can read my answer on her blog.
It's a great project i think and i'm honoured to take part in this. Tnx Katherine.

Her other blog: Our living dream is also interesting, so bring her a visit.

I love your honesty! It's not always easy to share our souls with others through our artwork, but you always do a wonderful job at expressing yourself, whether it be dark or light. You are never afraid to be yourself no matter what. You are aswsome, Monica, and you make me smile!

I agree Brian, it surely is not always easy to share your creative soul, perhaps people don't understand or can't relate, but thru art i can share without any reserve, and it makes me happy if there are other souls who recognise me and my voice.
Thank you for your sweet words, and you know what? Perhaps i'm not afraid to be myself (i never was in my life) but i am very shy at times.
It pleases me that i make you smile. :-)
xoxo

Thank you human being. I'm glad you enjoy my art and that it speaks to you, even in a strange way. L'étranger van Sartre is a favourite book of mine. Sometimes i feel a stranger too. :-)

Thank you so much La Dolce Vita. :-)

I've just returned from visiting Katherine's blog and leaving my impressions there. And already I am quite transfixed by your artwork. You really dig deep into the human psyche, especially in relation to the physical. I can entirely relate to that form of expression. So, I say this... Thank you for stopping in and allowing me to find out about you. You are amazing!
